High Desert Rodeo Recap: A Weekend the High Desert Won’t Forget
What a weekend. The first annual High Desert Rodeo brought together riders, families, businesses, sponsors, and rodeo fans from across the region for two unforgettable days at the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds in Victorville. From the moment the gates opened, the energy was undeniable.
The Whole High Desert Showed Up
Saturday night set the tone in a way we could have only hoped for. Before the rodeo even began, the event had already sold out.
The stands filled, the crowd brought the energy, and the support from the community made it clear that rodeo still has a strong place in the High Desert. Sunday continued that momentum with another incredible night of western sports, talented competitors, and families coming together to experience the tradition.
Riders, Competition & Arena Energy
Throughout the weekend, spectators experienced the excitement of live rodeo competition, including bull riding, barrel racing, roping, and more.
Our riders brought skill, courage, and heart into the arena, while the crowd gave them the energy they deserved.
From the dirt flying to the cheers from the stands, every moment helped make the first High Desert Rodeo one to remember.
Grateful for a Safe Weekend
Above everything else, we are incredibly grateful for a safe and successful weekend.
We thank God that our riders, teams, guests, and animals made it through the weekend safely.
Rodeo is built on respect for the sport, the competitors, the livestock, and everyone involved behind the scenes. Ending the weekend knowing everyone made it home safely is something we are deeply thankful for.
Thank You, High Desert
To every person who attended, traveled in, brought their family, supported a rider, shared our event, volunteered, sponsored, or simply believed in what we were building — thank you.
The support exceeded anything we could have imagined.
This weekend proved that the High Desert community is strong, connected, and ready to support something that brings people together.
It also showed us just how much this community wants rodeo.
Thank You to Our Sponsors & Partners
High Desert Rodeo would not be possible without the businesses, organizations, and community partners who believed in the vision and helped make the weekend happen.
To every sponsor and partner who supported the first annual High Desert Rodeo, thank you for investing in western sports, local families, and the High Desert community.
Your support helped make this event possible.
The Foundation Has Been Set
The first annual High Desert Rodeo was more than just a successful weekend. It set the foundation for what comes next.
We are proud to continue moving forward as High Desert Rodeo — the official rodeo of the High Desert.
Our goal is to keep growing, keep giving back, keep supporting riders, and keep western tradition alive for generations to come.
The High Desert showed up. The tradition is alive. And this is only the beginning.
Thank you for riding with us.
