Something new is coming to the High Desert — built on years of tradition.
This September, High Desert Rodeo will officially make its debut at the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds in Victorville, bringing together riders, families, businesses, and rodeo fans from across the region for an unforgettable weekend of western sports and community.
What started with a passion for keeping rodeo alive has quickly become something much bigger. This is more than an event. This is a tradition we’re building together.
A New Chapter for Rodeo in the High Desert
High Desert Rodeo may be a new name, but the people behind it have been helping keep rodeo alive in our community for years.
After helping revive and grow the Hesperia Days Rodeo, our team is proud to begin a new chapter — one that expands the vision beyond a single city and creates a rodeo for the entire High Desert.
Victorville. Hesperia. Apple Valley. Adelanto. Oak Hills. Phelan. And every community in between.
This one is for all of us.
The First Annual High Desert Rodeo
The inaugural High Desert Rodeo will take place:
Saturday, September 19 & Sunday, September 20, 2026
San Bernardino County Fairgrounds
Victorville, California
Guests can expect two exciting days of authentic rodeo competition, talented riders, western tradition, family entertainment, and the kind of arena energy that can only happen when the High Desert comes together.
From bull riding and barrel racing to roping and more, the first High Desert Rodeo is being built to celebrate the sport, its competitors, and the western way of life.
Built by the Community. For the Community.
At its core, High Desert Rodeo is about more than what happens inside the arena.
It’s about keeping a tradition alive. It’s about giving local families an experience they can look forward to year after year. It’s about supporting riders, local organizations, businesses, and charities while creating something the entire High Desert can proudly call its own.
The support we’ve already received has made one thing clear: The High Desert is ready for rodeo.
This Is Only the Beginning
The first annual High Desert Rodeo will set the foundation for what we hope becomes a lasting tradition for generations to come.
We’re excited to welcome the community to the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds and begin this next chapter together.
Get your boots ready.
